All our wine tours are private – so you get the whole vehicle and driver to yourself. We can cater to groups as small as 4 in our premium vehicle right through to groups of up to 24 people. In our experience the optimal group number is between 8 – 13, as it allows for better interaction with the wine makers and the tasting experience.

Ideally we like to keep the pick up and drop off locations to no more than 2 stops, as it ensures we get on the road faster and it doesn’t eat into your wine tasting time! If you do want to have more pick up and drop off stops, talk to us about this before making your booking. We pick up anywhere in the Illawarra, and Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands.

The beauty of wine tasting is that it can happen in pretty much any kind of weather! Wine tours will go on regardless of the weather (unless there are very extreme conditions that prevent it).

We plan each of our tours from scratch – so no tour is the same. The wineries we visit on the day depend on their availability but we strive to provide you with the best experience possible. We can try and include a specific winery if you like – let us know if you have a favourite winery or estate and we’ll do our best to fit it in.

Since all of our wine tours are private – it is you and all your guests on the tour so if you want to bring your kid/s along you are welcome to – chat with us first to see how this could work.

Whilst there is no formal dress code regulations at the establishments that we will be visiting, its important to dress neat and tidy and respectful.

No, we do not charge any extra fees or fuel surcharges. The listed price is the price you pay. Including tax.

Wear whatever is comfortable. It is recommended to have a sturdy pair of broken-in trail shoes, boots, or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable. Not much, remember our trips are all inclusive. We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and a day pack to carry extra snacks and water, if you are going on a hiking tour. Everything is provided on our food,beer and winery tours.

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.

Bookings

To secure your booking you will be required to pay a booking fee. You will be advised of this amount at the time of your reservation. This amount will be deducted from the overall amount of your quoted job. Your booking is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.

Payment Following your reservation, you will be required to pay the outstanding balance no later than 14 days prior to the date of your booking with us. If your booking is less than 14 days away you will be required to pay the full amount.

Pricing structure

For private charter services that finish after midnight, a surcharge will apply to the hourly rate of the whole service. See our pricing information for more details. Our prices are subject to change.

Cancellation

You must notify us as soon as possible of any changes to your booking. Cancellations must be acknowledged by us, and the following charges will apply: Cancellations made 21 days prior to your booking: no charge and your holding deposit will be refunded to you. Cancellations made between 21 – 14 days prior to your booking: 25% of your booking fee will be charged. Cancellations made between 14 – 7 days prior to your booking: 50% of your total job fee will be charged. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to your booking: 100% of the total job fee will be charged. If a passenger/s are a ‘no show’ for pick up, the transport will be cancelled and the payment will not be refunded.

Tours

A booking where tour number participants decrease in the 14 days prior to the service will not receive a refund. Tour bookings where the participant numbers increase must notify Creasy Bear Tours as soon as possible.

There is no guarantee that additional guests can be accommodated. The addition of further guests will be charged at the full rate.

Weather

Your tour will go ahead unless there are extreme weather conditions that prevent it. We will be in contact with you if this is the recommended action, and will work with you to identify the most suitable solution. If a passenger decides to not go ahead, despite Creasy Bear Tours recommendation that it is safe to do so, their payment will not be refunded. Vehicle breakdown In the unfortunate event that the Creasy Bear Tours vehicle breaks down during your booking, we will make alternate transport arrangements for you. Creasy Bear Tours will not be liable for passengers missing a flight, and we strongly encourage all our passengers utilising our airport or cruise transportation services to have travel insurance.

Passenger Rights and Responsibilities

At Creasy Bear Tours, we want all of our customers to have a good time. We will do our best to make this happen, but also ask that passengers help out.

Passengers can:

• Expect the bus to be clean and tidy
• Expect to see the driver’s authority card displayed
• Expect to not be inconvenienced by any luggage or goods within the bus
• Expect the driver to behave in an orderly manner, be polite and comply with reasonable requests
• Drink water on the bus

Passengers cannot:

• Place feet on seats
• Smoke, eat or spit
• Use offensive language or behave offensively
• Interfere with equipment or damage the bus
• Drop or leave rubbish in the bus.

If a passenger refuses to comply with Creasy Bear Tours policy we reserve the right to deny access to tours and transport for anyone who in our opinion is drunk, disorderly, a hazard to themselves or others, abusive, or objectionable in any other way.

We will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred as a result of your removal or non-participation.

The passengers fare will not be refundable.

An additional cleaning fee of $150 will be passed on to the passenger if the amount of cleaning required following their booking is out of the ordinary (e.g. the presence of any bodily substances). The passenger is also liable for the cost of any damage to the vehicle as a result of their actions.

Airport and Cruise Ship Terminal Transfers

It is the passengers responsibility to ensure that all the booking details are correct and provided at the time of booking.

This includes:

• Check in time (please consult with your airline/cruiseship)
• Flight number (if relevant) Cruise ship name and port of departure/arrival.
• Departure date and time (for airport and cruise drop offs)
• Arrival date and pick up time ( for airport and cruise pick ups.

Please ensure you double check your arrival date and time if you are on an overnight flight). Creasy Bear Tours will not be liable for a passenger missing a flight or cruise due to incorrect information provided. You will forfeit your payment and we will only provide transport on an alternate day if available (at a charge). At Creasy Bear Tours we will do our upmost to ensure you get to your destination on time, but cannot be held liable for unavoidable events that impact on the travel time.

For arriving passengers, Creasy Bear Tours will be in communication with you in writing. You can nominate your preferred method of contact (SMS, email or Facebook Messenger). It is the passengers responsibility to ensure they respond to any communication from Creasy Bear Tours.

For arriving passengers with a flight delay: Creasy Bear Tours will check your flight status, but if there are unexpected last minute delays the driver will wait a maximum of 3 hours. Beyond this time the passenger will need to make other transport arrangements at their own cost. Creasy Bear Tours will not refund your payment. We strongly advise passengers to take out effective travel insurance. Requests for changes to the booking made within 48 hours will be processed as best as possible, but there are no guarantees that they can be accommodated.
